MINUTES


Representative Phil Krinkie, Chairman of the Tax Committee, called the thirty-eighth meeting to order at 10:25 AM on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

The Chair called the meeting to order at 10:26 AM.

HF1909 (HACKBARTH): Game and fish heritage enhancement and clean water funds and councils established, sales tax percentage dedicated, and constitutional amendment proposed.

The Chair moved the HF1909.

Rep. BROD moved the HF1909de3 delete all amendment to HF1909de14 delete all amendment.

Rep. ABRAMS moved the minutes from March 21, 2006. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. DORMAN requested a roll call vote on the HF1909de3 delete all amendment.

There being 9 ayes and 19 nays, THE MOTION DOES NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. JAROS moved the HF1909A13 amendment to the HF1909de14 delete all amendment.

Rep. JAROS requested a roll call vote on the HF1909A13 amendment.

There being 10 ayes and 17 nays, THE MOTION DOES NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. MULLERY moved the HF1909de15 amendment to the HF1909de14 delete all amendment. THE MOTION DOES NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

The Chair moved HF1909 as amended be passed and re-referred to the Committee on State Government Finance.

Rep. Abrams requested a roll call vote on HF1909 as amended.

There being 18 ayes and 8 nays, THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The Chair adjourned the meeting at 11:55 PM.
