Representative Erik Paulsen, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the fifth meeting to order at 2:22 P.M. on Monday, March 14, 2005, in Room 118 of the State Capitol.

The Clerk noted the roll.

The first matter under consideration was H.F.1394 (Soderstrom).

Rep. Paulsen moved that H.F.1394 be recommended to pass.

Rep. Soderstrom presented H.F.1394.

Rep. Paulsen renewed his motion that H.F.1394 be recommended to pass.

The MOTION PREVAILED; H.F.1394 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS.

The second matter under consideration was H.F.820 (Paulsen).

Rep. Paulsen moved that H.F.820 be recommended to pass.

Rep. Paulsen presented H.F.820.

Rep. Juhnke moved amendment A6 to H.F. 820.

Rep. Juhnke presented the A6 amendment.

Discussion.

Rep. Juhnke renewed his motion that the A6 amendment be adopted.

The MOTION PREVAILED; THE A6 AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Juhnke moved amendment A7 to H.F. 820.

Rep. Juhnke presented the A7 amendment.

Discussion.

Rep. Juhnke renewed his motion that the A7 amendment be adopted.

The MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL; THE A7 AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. Juhnke moved amendment A8 to H.F. 820.

Rep. Juhnke presented the A8 amendment.

Discussion.

Rep. Juhnke renewed his motion that the A8 amendment be adopted.

The MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL; THE A8 AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. Juhnke moved amendment A10 to H.F. 820.

Rep. Juhnke presented the A10 amendment.

Discussion.

Rep. Juhnke renewed his motion that the A10 amendment be adopted.

The MOTION PREVAILED; THE A10 AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Juhnke moved amendment A5 to H.F. 820.

Rep. Juhnke presented the A5 amendment.

Discussion.

Rep. Juhnke withdrew the A5 amendment.

Rep. Paulsen moved that H.F.820 be recommended to pass as amended.

The MOTION PREVAILED; H.F.820 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS AS AMENDED.
