MINUTES


Representative Erik Paulsen, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration called the ninth meeting to order at 11:53 A.M. on Wednesday, April 6, 2005, in Room 118 of the State Capitol.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

The first matter under consideration was the approval of the minutes from the meeting on Wednesday, March 30, 2005.

Rep. Sertich moved that the minutes be approved.

The MOTION PREVAILED; THE MINUTES FROM THE MEETING ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 2005 WERE APPROVED.

The second matter under consideration was the Proposed Calendar for the Day for Thursday, April 7, 2005.

Rep. Hoppe moved that the Proposed Calendar for the Day be approved.

The MOTION PREVAILED; THE PROPOSED CALENDAR FOR THE DAY FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 7, 2005 WAS APPROVED.

The third matter under consideration was H.F.1714 (Kahn).

Rep. Kelliher moved that H.F.1714 be recommended to pass.

Rep. Kahn presented H.F.1714.


Rep. Kelliher renewed her motion that H.F.1714 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on State Government Finance.

The MOTION PREVAILED; H.F.1714 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS AND BE RE-REFERRED TO THE COMMITTEE ON STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE.

The meeting adjourned at 11:58 A.M.
