MINUTES


Representative Bob Gunther, Chair of the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Committee called the fifty-fifth meeting to order at 8:24 a.m., on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.


Representative Gazelka moved to approve the Minutes of March 21, 2006. The motion prevailed and the Minutes of March 21, 2006 were approved.


Chair Gunther called Representative Wilkin to the Chair at 8:25 AM.


HF3593(Gunther) Prevailing wage determination method modified and Occupational Employment Statistics benefits survey required.

Representative Gunther moved HF3593 to be before the committee.

Representative Gunther presented HF3593.

HF3593 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Omnibus Bill.



HF0632(Urdahl) Employer income tax credit for creation and retention of certain rural county jobs authorized, and money appropriated.

Chair Wilkin moved HF0632 to be before the committee.

Representative Urdahl presented HF0632.

Chair Wilkin moved Amendment H0632DE4. The motion prevailed. Amendment H0632DE4 was adopted.

Representative Sertich moved HF3638 to be before the committee.

HF 3638 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Omnibus Bill.
