Representative Bob Gunther, Chair of the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Committee, called the twenty-seventh meeting to order at 8:22 a.m., on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.


H. F. 0522 (Nornes), A bill for an act relating to human services; modifying child care reimbursement rates.

Chair Gunther moved HF0522 to be before the committee and recommended that HF0522 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy and Finance Omnibus bill.

Representative Garofalo moved to adopt Amendment H0522A1. The motion prevailed and Amendment H0522A1 was adopted.

H. F. 1056 (Nornes), A bill for an act relating to human services; modifying child care assistance provider reimbursement rate categories; amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 119B.13, subdivision 1.
Chair Gunther moved HF1056 to be before the committee and recommended that HF1056 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy and Finance Omnibus bill.

Representative Nornes presented HF1056.

Chair Gunther moved HF0374 to be before the committee and recommended that HF0374 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy and Finance Omnibus bill.

Representative Ruth moved HF1195 to be before the committee and recommended that HF1195 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy and Finance Omnibus bill.
