MINUTES


Representative Fran Bradley, Chair of the Health Policy and Finance Committee, called the sixtieth meeting to order at 9:40 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2006 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

HF 3422 (Cornish) Recalled implantable medical device manufacturer financial responsibility for removal and replacement required.

Rep. Bradley moved HF 3422 be recommended to pass and be rereferred to the committee on Commerce and Financial Institutions.

Rep. Cornish presented HF 3422.

Proponents and Opponents were given 15 minutes each to present testimony.

The Chair laid HF 3422 on the table.

At 11:07 a.m., the Chair called a five-minute recess.

The Chair reconvened the meeting at 11:22 a.m.

HF1505 (Brod) Vaccines with mercury prohibited.

Rep. Bradley moved HF 1505 be recommended to pass.

Rep. Bradley moved to amend HF 1505 (see Amendment A06-1352A attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Bradley moved to amend the Amendment A06-1352A (see handwritten changes on page 1, line 1.2 and page 2 line 2.3 of attached Amendment A06-1352A). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Brod presented HF 1505.

HF3387 (Holberg) Genetic testing parental consent acquisition procedures modified, destruction of test results parental direction provided, and test revision authorized.

HF2731 (Powell) EMT training programs required to meet an average yearly pass rate.
HF 854 (Finstad) Physical therapy time limit prohibition eliminated

HF2806 (Abeler) Licensed professional counselor reimbursement provided.
