Representative Kathy Tingelstad, Chair of the Governmental Operations and Veterans Affairs Committee, called the thirty eighth meeting to order 9:15 AM on Tuesday, February 8, 2006 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Representative Tina Liebling moved the approval of the minutes of Tuesday, November 8, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Chair Tingelstad introduced the new member of the Governmental Operations and Veterans Affairs Committee, Representative Larry Haws.

Representative Severson assumed the gavel at 9:23 AM.

The Legislative Reform House Survey Results were presented by Representative Tingelstad and Representative Diane Loeffler.

Representative Tingelstad assumed the gavel at 10:13 AM.

A legislative overview summarizing the 2005 laws relating to rulemaking and to Governmental Operations was presented by Mark Shepherd, House Research.

The meeting adjourned at 11:26 AM.
