Representative Mark Buesgens, Chair of the Education Policy and Reform Committee, called the fifteenth meeting to order at 8:21AM on Tuesday, March 15, 2005, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Marquart moved the minutes of March 10, 2005. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF1744 (Sykora): Alternative compensation and staff development program established.

Rep. Sykora moved that HF1744 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Education Finance.

Rep. Sykora moved to amend HF1744 with the HF1744DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Sykora presented HF1744, as amended.

Rep. Buesgens moved that HF1751 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Education Finance.

Rep. Buesgens moved the following oral amendment to HF 1751:
Pages 4-5, delete Section 3.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Buesgens moved the A05-0248 amendment to HF1751. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Buesgens moved the H1717DE2 amendment to HF1717. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
