Representative Dennis Ozment, Chair of the Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources Finance Committee called the twenty first meeting to order on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at 8:19 a.m.

Representative Juhnke moved to approve minutes of February 24, 2005.

Discussion by Fiscal Staff Jim Reinholdz on spreadsheet of Governor’s recommendation for committee.
Discussion by House Researcher John Helland on previous committee question on Cartway law.
Testifying before the committee on behalf of the Department of Natural Resources at 500 Lafayette Road, St. Paul, MN were the following individuals:

Courtland Nelson, Director of Parks and Recreation,
Bill Brice, Director of Lands and Minerals.
