MINUTES
Representative Dennis Ozment, Chair of the Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources Finance Committee called the thirty-seventh meeting to order on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at
8:25 a.m.
The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Cornish moved to approve minutes of April 12, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Ozment moved HF 826 before the Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources Finance Committee. Clean Water Legacy Act established providing authority, direction, and funding to achieve and maintain water quality standards for surface waters in accordance with the federal Clean Water Act, and money appropriated.
Representative Dill assumed the Chair at 8:27 a.m.
Representative Ozment moved adoption of Amendment A05-0565. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Testifying on HF 826 were:
Mike Robertson, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce,
Craig Johnson, League of Minnesota Cities,
Marie Zellar, Clean Water Action,
Chris Radatz, Minnesota Farm Bureau.
HF 826 was laid over for continued discussion in Committee until tomorrow’s meeting, Wednesday, April 13, 2005.
The meeting adjourned at 10:01 a.m.
