HF 1065 (Davnie) Prekindergarten through grade 12 education funding provided; general education, education excellence, teachers, special education, facilities, nutrition and libraries, early childhood, community education, and state agency provisions modified; reports required; and money appropriated. -The DE amendment for HF 1065, the Omnibus Education Finance bill, will be posted on Monday, April 5th. -Walkthrough of the DE amendment and member discussion will take place on Tuesday, April 6th. -Amendments are due to the Committee Administrator on Wednesday, April 7th at 2 pm. -Public testimony will begin to be taken at the end of the hearing on Tuesday, April 6th if there's time. All of Wednesday's hearing will be devoted to public testimony & public testimony will conclude on Wednesday, April 7th. Instructions are below on how to sign up for public testimony. -Formal committee action will be taken on Thursday, April 8th. -If necessary the committee will meet Thursday afternoon to finish it's work. *Bills may be added to the agenda Instructions to the public on testimony: • Testimony will be taken on a first come basis.
