Bills Added:
HF1325 (Green) - Tax-forfeited land sale requirements modified.
HF1173 (Green) - Wetland replacement requirements exemption provided for impacts related to mining.
HF243 (Newton) - Driver's licenses and Minnesota identification cards Purple Heart designation established, and state park permits provided.
HF1162 (Dill) - University land exempted from prohibition on selling lands bordering public waters.
HF1448 (Anderson) - Sale of donated land required.
HF1698 (Anzelc) - Class 1c property requirements modified, and treatment of leased seasonal-recreational land modified.
HF1168 (Hackbarth) - Minnesota Valley Trail requirements established, deer hunting governing requirements modified, beaver season authorized, restrictions on using artificial lights to take fish modified, rulemaking authorized relating to spearing and northern pike, and distribution of survey information authorized.

The Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee will consider HF1429 in light of the recommendations of the Lands Subcommittee during the afternoon session of the meeting (2:45-4:30pm).

During the evening session starting at 6:15pm, the Committee will consider HF1406 (Hackbarth) (Game and Fish Bill) and HF1070 (McNamara).
Bills Added:
HF1429 (Dill) - Beltrami, Carlton, Cass, Crow Wing, Dakota, Goodhue, Hennepin, Hubbard, Lake, Martin, Pine, St. Louis, Todd, Washington, and Winona Counties; public and private sales and conveyances of state lands provided, and prior sale authority modified.
HF1186 (Lueck) - Mining companies exempted from electrical licensing.
HF1329 (McNamara) - Invasive species provisions, state parks and trails provisions, fire training requirements, auxiliary forest provisions, forest bough account, and recreational vehicle provisions modified; review of grant-in-aid applications provided; and water use permit authority modified.
HF1406 (Hackbarth) - Life jacket requirements modified; wake surfing regulated; compliance with federal law provided; wild animal taking, possessing, and transporting provisions modified; criminal penalties provided; and rulemaking and reports required.
HF1070 (McNamara) - Body-gripping trap use restricted near public roads and trails.

The Lands Subcommittee as appointed by Chair Hackbarth (Rep. David Dill-Chair, Rep. Dale Lueck, Rep. Deb Kiel, Rep. Brian Johnson, and Rep. Tom Anzelc) will meet during the regular Mining & Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee meeting time to consider the DNR Lands Bill (HF1429) and individual land sale bills for possible inclusion in the Lands Omnibus Bill. The recommendations of the Lands Subcommittee will be taken up by the Mining & Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee on Wednesday, March 11th.
Bills Added:
