Tax Committee to meet remotely Wednesday, April 8 from 8:30-9:30am

Minnesotans are invited to participate in a remote Tax Committee hearing on Wednesday, April 8 from 8:30-9:30am. If you are interested in testifying, please email the Committee Administrator at nathan.jesson@house.mn at least one hour prior to the meeting to get instructions.

I. Brief Overview from House Research on tax items included in the federal CARES Act with state implications.



II. Covid-19 Response Legislation



DE Amendment for HF 2693 (Marquart): **This is a vehicle bill** DE language posted below: pertaining to liquor posting; allowing the commissioner discretion in posting certain taxpayers affected by an executive closure order.



The Minnesota House of Representatives is currently working on establishing the processes and technology that allow remote hearings to be held that are accessible to the public. We expect many refinements to come over the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience as we adapt.
