Fairgoers can meet legislators and weigh in on hot political topics during their visit to the House of Representatives booth at the Minnesota State Fair.
More than 30 House members are scheduled to appear at the House exhibit during the fair's 12 days, from Aug. 27 through Labor Day, Sept. 7, and thousands of Minnesotans are again expected to take part in the annual House opinion poll.
Not only can fairgoers meet a House member, they can pose as one, too, thanks to the 'Be the Speaker' feature where you can grab a gavel and stand behind a replica of the House speaker’s desk.
The House of Representatives exhibit is located in the Education Building on Cosgrove Street, just north of Dan Patch Avenue, and is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day of the fair.
