House passes annual revisor's bill

Ninety-four pages of legislative tweaks should soon land on Gov. Mark Dayton’s desk.

That’s where the annual revisor’s bill is headed, as amended, after the House passed it 128-0 Tuesday. The Senate passed SF1218 April 9 by a vote of 60-0.

The bill, sponsored Rep. Joe Schomacker (R-Luverne) and Sen. Warren Limmer (R-Maple Grove), contains grammatical corrections, cross-reference fixes and other technical changes in laws, statutes and rules.

An author’s amendment, adopted by voice vote, would add what Schomacker called further “comfort language” to existing law that requires some health-plan companies to report certain pricing data.
