Starting Line: What bills made it to the finish line?

The Minnesota Legislature is a complex system of oversight. Sometimes bills travel through numerous committees, where they are shaped by members before arriving on the floor where more changes could occur.

During the 2013-2014 biennium, Starting Line highlighted 26 different bills as they traveled through the legislative process. From raising the minimum wage to allowing the use of firearms without a permit to a bill that would establish religious liberties, a wide array of topics were covered in the series.
