The days ahead have begun to take shape as several omnibus finance bills are scheduled to reach the House Floor early next week and all indications they will soon be merged into a so-called “omnibus omnibus bill.”

Rep. Jim Knoblach (R-St. Cloud), chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, said Friday there will likely be “many, many conference committee meetings” where “10 conferees” will gather to hammer out the differences between a potential House bill and the omnibus supplemental appropriations bill, SF3656, passed by the Senate April 26.

But before looking too far ahead, let’s look back at what you may have missed this week.
