Starting Line: What to do about the misrepresentation of service animals?

Service animals can be an important asset to a person with a disability by performing tasks that may be difficult for the individual. For example, you may have seen a specially trained dog accompanying their owner at the grocery store or the post office.
While service animals are important to those who genuinely need the assistance, how do you prevent a person from attempting to pass off their pet as a service animal?
This week on Starting Line, Rep. Steve Green (R-Fosston) talks to us about HF2815 which would make it a crime to knowingly misrepresent a service animal.
