1.1A House concurrent resolution
1.2adopting deadlines for the 2007 regular session.
1.3BE IT RESOLVED, by the House of Representatives of the State of Minnesota, the Senate
1.4concurring:
1.5(a) In accordance with Joint Rule 2.03, the deadlines in this resolution apply to the 2007
1.6regular session.
1.7(b) The deadlines in this paragraph do not apply to the House Committee on Finance, Ways
1.8and Means, Taxes, or Rules and Legislative Administration, or to the Senate Committee on
1.9Capital Investment, Finance, Taxes, or Rules and Administration.
1.10(1) The first and second deadlines in the House are Friday, March 23, 2007.
1.11(2) The first and second deadlines in the Senate are Saturday, April 14, 2007.
1.12(3) The third deadline is 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2007, for the divisions of the House
1.13Committee on Finance and for the Senate to act favorably on omnibus appropriation bills.
1.14(4) The fourth deadline is that the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Majority
1.15Leader of the Senate must establish joint revenue and appropriation limits for action in conference
1.16committees no later than April 27, 2007.
1.17(c) When a committee in either house acts favorably on a bill after a deadline established
1.18in this resolution, the bill must be referred in the Senate to the Committee on Rules and
1.19Administration or in the House of Representatives to the Committee on Rules and Legislative
1.20Administration for disposition. Either rules committee, when reporting a bill referred to the
2.1committee in accordance with Joint Rule 2.03 and this resolution, may waive the application of
2.2the rule and resolution to subsequent actions on that bill by other committees.
