Rep. Brion Curran’s Statement on Passage of State Bonding Bills

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Today, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed H.F. 669 and H.F. 670, two bills related to capital investment. The bills, authored by Representative Fue Lee (DFL – Minneapolis), passed on votes of 91-43 and 98-36 respectively, and were both products of the bipartisan framework agreement reached at the end of the 2022 Legislative Session.

Representative Brion Curran (DFL – Vadnais Heights) voted for the package, which includes $5 million to extend the Bruce Vento Trail and modifications to previous projects to extend the Lake Links Trail in White Bear Lake.

“The trail extensions included in the bonding bill package will make White Bear Lake and the surrounding area a better place to live, visit, and raise a family,” said Rep. Curran. “I am glad to see these projects included in the bonding bill and was proud to vote in support of this critical bipartisan infrastructure package.”

Representative Curran originally introduced the Bruce Vento Regional Trail proposal included in the bonding bill as H.F. 1798.
