State Representative Marj Fogelman (R-Fulda) issued the following statement after learning about the closure of the HyLife pork processing plant in Windom:
“I am so disappointed to learn of HyLife’s closing as it has been an important asset to the City of Windom and to the more than 1,000 employees who worked diligently to help the processing plant succeed. These employees are now dealing with the unwanted stress of losing a job and wondering what their future holds. I have already been in contact with state and local officials to help determine the best ways to assist HyLife's employees, and I stand ready to help our displaced workers and their families in any way I can.”
