Rep. Murphy Appointed to Advisory Council on Rare Diseases St. Paul, Minnesota — Representative Tom Murphy (Underwood) is appointed to the University of Minnesota’s Chloe Barnes Advisory Council on Rare Diseases. This council works with state universities and public health to provide Minnesotans with resources available to them in regard to rare diseases. They also work to provide guidance on best practices and identify barriers the public may face to access care for these diseases. This appointment was made by House Minority Leader Representative Lisa Demuth. "I am honored to be entrusted with this position on the council. I will be certain to bring my experience and unique perspective to the conversation.
