First, thank you to everyone who came to my latest legislative meet-and-greet last Saturday. It’s invaluable to hear your opinions on issues we’re discussing in St. Paul. For those that couldn’t make it, here’s a short update on what’s happening at the Capitol.
Waste Collection Bill
On Wednesday, my waste collection bill, HF3708, passed the Government Operations and Elections Policy Committee. This is a big issue in Bloomington, and something I’ve been hearing about for months. There’s only two weeks left of the legislative session, but it’s encouraging to see legislation moving through the process.
Happy Mother’s Day
I wouldn’t be where I am today without my mom, or my wife, Anne. I’d like to wish a happy Mother’s Day to the moms in my family and yours! I hope you have a great celebration planned with all the mothers in your life.
