Legislative Update (April 15, 2016)

Friday, April 15, 2016

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for your calls, emails, and visits to my office this week. We’re staying very busy at the Capitol, but I always have time to listen to your opinion. Again, thank you.

Upcoming Bills

Next week we’re planning to hear two of my transportation bills that impact our area. The first is my 35W-494 interchange improvement bill, HF3412. This is one of the worst bottlenecks in the country, and we should start the process to improve it. The other bill, HF3413, would fund improvements to the light rail station at the Mall of America. I look forward to presenting these bills to help our neighborhood.

Bloomington Curbside Cleanup

I posted this on social media this week, but wanted to remind everyone again about the Bloomington Curbside Cleanup. Starting tomorrow, areas around our city are working to help dispose of a number of items you might have laying around the house. For more information, please click here.

St. Paul Visits

Again, thank you to everyone who stopped by my office this week. It was great spending time with people from our area who are passionate about their cause. If you’re planning to be in St. Paul during session, please swing by my office.

As always, feel free to contact me with a question or suggestion to help our state. I’m always open to listening to new ideas, and hope you’ll continue to reach out whenever you need something.

Enjoy the warm weekend,

Chad
