Hello from St. Paul

Wednesday, February 17, 2016

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for your support over the past couple months. It was a ride, and I appreciate all of your help and assistance.

Earlier today, I was sworn in to be an official member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. Speaker of the House Kurt Daudt was on hand to administer the oath of office.

I’m truly thankful and humbled to represent you, the people of Bloomington, in Saint Paul, and I can’t wait to get to work in the upcoming legislative session. Our community expects their elected officials to work together to do what's best for Minnesota. I plan to reach across the aisle and work with my colleagues to improve schools for our kids, create good-paying jobs, and put money back in the pockets of families across the state.

Following the ceremony, I was appointed to three committees: Aging and Long-Term Care Policy, Transportation Policy and Finance, and Government Operations and Elections Policy.

I'm here to be your voice in Saint Paul, and to serve our community. I hope we can stay connected and you'll contact me frequently as session continues, to let me know where you stand and what your priorities are. I also hope you'll contact my office with questions about what's going on at the Capitol or if you need assistance in dealing with state government. One of my biggest goals as your legislator is to provide excellent constituent services.

Although I’m still transitioning to my new office, feel free to contact me to set up a time to visit, or just to share any ideas or suggestions you have for our state. You can reach me at rep.chad.anderson@house.mn or 651-296-4218. Also, HERE is a link for your friends and neighbors to sign up for my future updates. Again, thank you for this opportunity; I look forward to serving you.

Best,

Chad
