Dear neighbors,
I want to remind you that you’re invited to an education town hall meeting this Saturday, September 21 at Forest Hills Elementary (13708 Holly Rd, Eden Prairie, 55436) at 1:00 p.m. Rep. Paul Rosenthal will be joining us. In addition to reviewing the ways in which we moved education forward in the 2013 legislative session, we also would like to hear from you on the future challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of us. I hope to see you there!
Also, please mark your calendars for our upcoming Senior Fraud Prevention meeting in October. Commerce Commissioner Mike Rothman and the Better Business Bureau's Gary Johnson will be joining us to share their expertise and advice. As you may have read, there has been a surge in phone scams taking place as con artists attempt to cash in on the ‘MNSure’ health exchange implementation. Lastly, I want to thank all of you who have attended all of my town hall meetings and coffees to date, including the recent transportation and education town hall meetings. I appreciate your involvement as we look thoughtfully for ways to address the important issues that face us and keep our area and Minnesota a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
