The legislative session is in full swing and I wanted to update you on an upcoming meeting and provide some helpful information for filing your taxes.
TOWN HALL MEETING
Please join me for a town hall meeting on Wednesday, January 28th. Senator Sieben and Rep. McNamara will be joining me to share what we expect for the legislative session. I hope you’ll come and tell us what you think we should prioritize at the Capitol.

When: 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28
TAXES
This week marks the beginning of tax season. The Department of Revenue is urging people to file electronically and choose direct deposit. Filing electronically reduces errors and leads to faster processing. Choosing direct deposit saves the state money and gets you your refund faster. For more information on this, and filing in general, visit the Department of Revenue’s press release.
