ST. PAUL, MN – Today the Office of Minnesota Management and Budget released a new budget forecast showing a projected deficit of $627 million for fiscal years 2014-2015.
Rep. Jason Isaacson (DFL – Shoreview) released the following statement reacting to the February forecast.
“A projected $627 million deficit means that the status quo of cuts and gimmicks isn’t working.
I’m excited to work with my colleagues and Governor Dayton to move Minnesota forward in a new direction.
We’re committed to passing a budget that invests in our children’s education, reduces property taxes for homeowners and small businesses, and puts an end to Minnesota’s perpetual budget deficits.”
