ST. PAUL – State Rep. Jeff Howe, R-Rockville, has accepted positions on four House committees for the upcoming biennium.
Howe, entering his third term in office, will serve Civil Law and Data Practices; Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance; Job Growth and Energy Affordability Policy and Finance; and Transportation Finance.
“This is a good mix of continuing with committees I have served the last couple of years, along with gaining some new positions where I can bring some fresh perspective,” Howe said. “Transportation is a key committee for me as we look for ways to provide more funding for our roads and bridges. That is a top priority for people in our district and I am confident we will meet the challenge.”
Howe will begin his new committee assignments when the Legislature convenes Jan. 3 in St. Paul.
