State Rep. Roger Erickson Congratulates the City of Baudette for $100,000 Award
ST. PAUL, MN – This week the City of Baudette has been awarded a $113,135 Contamination Cleanup grant through the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). The funds will go towards the cleanup of the Baudette Oil site.
State Representative Roger Erickson (DFL - Baudette) would like to congratulate everyone involved in the application process for a job well done.
“The City of Baudette can be proud of their work today,” said Rep. Erickson. “This grant will help us cleanup land in our area and use it to benefit the local economy by bringing in a new business and new jobs. It’s exactly the kind of local development Minnesotans need in order to keep our economy strong.”
Baudette’s application was chosen for an award out of 20 Contamination Cleanup and Investigation and RAP Development applications.
