ST. PAUL, MN – This Wednesday and Thursday, Rep. Carly Melin (DFL – Hibbing) will join fellow members of the Minnesota House of Representatives Capital Investment Committee at several events in her district to review projects for possible consideration in the 2014 bonding bill.
Rep. Melin, who serves on the Capital Investment Committee, has been traveling throughout Minnesota with her fellow committee members as part of a statewide tour to gather information and feedback about job creation projects that will be considered as a bonding bill is crafted in the upcoming legislative session.
“The tour has been going really well,” said Rep. Melin. “I’m looking forward to seeing my neighbors and constituents at the stops in my district. Passing a strong bonding bill is a good way to create jobs on the Iron Range and invest in our communities.”
Members of the press are encouraged to attend each event to receive more information about the local economic impact of the bonding projects.
