The Minnesota House of Representatives is looking for High School Pages for the 2017 legislative session.
Modeled after the United States Congress Page Program, the program is open to all Minnesota high school students in the Junior year, and is a week in duration. The formal application process includes an application form, acquiring a faculty recommendation, and submitting an essay. Applications are Due on December 2nd, 2016.
Representative Glenn Gruenhagen (R-Glencoe) issued the following statement regarding the High School Page Program:
"I hope that all students interested in public service will apply to the Minnesota House's High School Page Program," said Gruenhagen. "It is a unique opportunity to experience state government first hand, and explore our newly-renovated Capitol."
