Roseau, MINN—Rep. Dan Fabian, R-Roseau, is congratulating two local farm families for being named a 2018 Minnesota Farm Family of the Year by the University of Minnesota’s Farm Family Recognition Program. James and Julie Ristad of Hallock and Clair and LaVonne Knudson of Warroad were recognized this year.
“Congratulations to our local 2018 Minnesota Farm Families of the Year,” said Rep. Fabian. “I am so grateful that we have a strong agriculture community here in Northwest Minnesota, and that our great family farms are contributing to our economy and helping put food on the table for folks at home and around the world.
