Roseau, MINN—Rep. Dan Fabian, R-Roseau, is attending a White House Conference on Rural Prosperity next Tuesday, January 30. The meeting will include United States Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, United States Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, and a number of other federal, state and local leaders from across the nation. Discussions will focus around trade, infrastructure, technology, and strengthening rural economies.
“It’s an honor to have been invited to the White House Conference on Rural Prosperity, and I look forward to bringing issues that are important to our rural communities in Northwest Minnesota to Washington D.C.,” said Rep. Fabian. “I’ve talked with many of our ag groups, farmers and local leaders about their priorities and plan to bring those before folks during this conference. It will be great to talk with leaders from across our nation about how we can strengthen our economy and make rural communities like ours an even better place to live, work and raise a family.”
