Roseau, MINN— The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has marked October 2nd-8th as Minnesota Manufacturing Week to recognize the economic importance of this sector.
Representative Dan Fabian (R-Roseau) took a moment this week to recognize manufacturing businesses in Northwest Minnesota, as well as the thousands of employees in this sector who contribute to our local economy and help make the goods we use every day.
“We are fortunate to have so many great manufacturing businesses both large and small in Northwest Minnesota,” said Rep. Fabian. “High quality products crafted by skilled men and women are made right in our own backyard and used across the globe. The manufacturing industry is a key driver of our state’s economy, and I will continue to promote policies that help our manufacturing industry grow, expand and create more good-paying jobs in Minnesota.”
