Capitol Update from Rep. Dan Fabian

Thursday, July 21, 2016

Dear Neighbor,

Special session negotiations are continuing between House and Senate leadership and Governor Dayton. I am hopeful they can come to an agreement that includes the repassage of the bipartisan tax bill the governor vetoed earlier this year so we can give significant tax relief to families, farmers, Main Street businesses, veterans and college graduates. If talks and negotiations continue in good faith, we could have a final agreement and special session sometime in August.

Additionally, I wanted to let you know that after this week, I will no longer be able to send out Capitol Updates until November due to a Campaign Finance Board rule. Please know, however, that my office is available to you should you or your family need assistance on a matter of state government.

My door is always open to the needs and priorities of our area. I am here to serve you!

Hope you’re having a wonderful summer and enjoying some quality time with your friends and family!

Sincerely,

Dan
