Sanders Takes Oath of Office

Wednesday, January 7, 2015

ST. PAUL, Minn.— Tim Sanders (R-Blaine) was officially sworn in as a state representative on Tuesday, January 6, in St. Paul after taking the oath of office administered by Chief Justice Lori Gildea. This is his fourth term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.

“It’s a privilege to be representing the people and priorities of Blaine,” said Rep. Sanders. “This session, I will work to pass fiscally responsible bills that benefit the people of our community—attracting small businesses, strengthening our schools, reining in wasteful spending and making state government more efficient and effective. As always, I welcome your input on how we can improve government and make our great state even better.”

For the 2015-16 legislative sessions, Sanders will chair the House Government Operations and Election Policy Committee as well as serve on the Commerce and Regulatory Reform, Rules and Legislative Administration, and Transportation Finance and Policy committees.
