RELEASE: Mack sworn in for fourth term

SAINT PAUL, MN—Representative Tara Mack, R-Apple Valley, was officially sworn-in for her fourth term Tuesday as the legislature began the 2015 session in St. Paul. Legislators took the oath of office administered by Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court Lorie Gildea in the House Chamber. Mack will continue representing District 57A which includes portions of Apple Valley and Lakeville.
 
"I'm looking forward to the important work ahead of us in the 2015 session," Mack said. "As Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, I'm ready to look at any and all ways we can help improve health care in Minnesota and make it more affordable and accessible for Minnesota families."
 
Mack, who was first elected in 2008, was named Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee last month. She will also serve on the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, and the Ethics Committee.
 
Mack lives in Apple Valley with her husband, Justin, and their two children.
