Town Hall Details and E-Survey

Monday, February 2, 2015

Dear Neighbors:

The legislative session is now a month old.  Governor Mark Dayton and both legislative bodies have put forward their budget proposals, including major transportation initiatives.  While there are some differences between the various proposals, I’m encouraged and believe we’ll do good work for our district this session.

Please join me, Sen. Barb Goodwin and Rep. Connie Bernardy for a town hall/listening session next Saturday.  This is the perfect opportunity to hear about what issues we’ll be focusing on and provide input on what you would like us to work on.

Where: Anoka County Library in Fridley - 410 Mississippi St NE

When: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7

Where: New Brighton Community Center - 400 10th St NW

When: 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7

At both meetings you will have the opportunity to fill out a survey to let me know your priorities for the legislature.  An online version is available here:

If you’re unable to make one of the meetings, please feel free to contact me with your thoughts at 651-296-4331 or at rep.carolyn.laine@house.mn.

I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Carolyn Laine

State Representative, District 41B
