Rep. Carolyn Laine to Host Town Hall Meetings

Thursday, January 29, 2015

Dear Editor:

The legislative session is now a month old.  Governor Mark Dayton and both legislative bodies have put forward their budget proposals, including major transportation initiatives.  While there are some differences between the various proposals, I’m encouraged and believe we’ll do good work for our district this session.

Please join me, Senator Goodwin and Rep. Bernardy for two town hall meetings next Saturday.  This is the perfect opportunity to hear about what issues we’ll be focusing on and provide input on what you would like us to work on.

What: First Town Hall Meeting with Reps. Laine, Bernardy and Sen. Goodwin

Where: Anoka County Library in Fridley - 410 Mississippi St NE

When: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7

What: Second Town Hall Meeting with Reps. Laine, Bernardy and Sen. Goodwin

Where: New Brighton Community Center - 400 10th St NW

When: 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7

If you’re unable to make the town hall meetings, please feel free to contact me with your thoughts at 651-296-4331 or at rep.carolyn.laine@house.mn.

I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Carolyn Laine

State Representative, District 41B
