Rep. Tim Faust Recognized for Leadership on Co-op Issues

ST PAUL – This week, Rep. Tim Faust (DFL – Hinckley) was recognized for his leadership in the Minnesota House of Representatives. The Cooperative Network, an organization of more than 6.1 million residents in Wisconsin and Minnesota, honored Rep. Faust at their annual meeting on January 15 in St Paul.

The award came with the following description:

Thanks to their strong advocacy of Cooperative Network-led initiatives during the 2013 legislative session, legislators have been awarded for their outstanding contributions. Rep. Tim Faust (DFL–Hinckley) was given a “Recognition” award for championing and advancing both the director liability and the hours-of-service legislative changes through the House of Representatives.

Rep. Faust also fought for coop protections in the Energy bill such as exemptions from certain solar regulations. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Agriculture Policy Committee.
