Dear Neighbors,
This Saturday, House Majority Leader Ryan Winkler and I are hosting a Community Conversation on Cannabis from 11:00am – 12:00pm at Austin City Hall (500 4th Ave NE, Austin). Eleven states and the District of Columbia have legalized cannabis for adult-use, and when the Minnesota Legislature returns in February, it’s anticipated we’ll start the conversation on what that could look like for our state.
To that end it is important to hear from you. The Majority Leader has been hosting a number of meetings throughout the state, and is holding this event in Austin in order for the public to weigh in on what would be a responsible framework for adult-use cannabis. I am co-hosting as I know there are constituents who would like to directly express their support or opposition.
