ST. PAUL – Rep. Kurt Zellers (R-Maple Grove) released the following statement on the House Taxes Committee hearing to consider repeal of the business-to-business taxes passed last session:
“I’m glad to see the Democrats are finally realizing what many of us have been saying for nearly a year: the tax hikes they passed on Minnesota families and businesses last year were wrong, damaging, and would make it harder to keep and grow jobs in Minnesota,” said Zellers, a member of the House Taxes Committee. “I encourage legislators of both parties to join with me to get this job-killing problem fixed immediately -- and certainly before April 1 when the new warehousing tax is set to kick in.”
