Mark your calendars! State Senator Katie Sieben and I will soon be holding a town hall meeting in Hastings and we'd love it if you could attend.
The event will take place on Monday, February 1 at the City Hall, 101 4th Street, from 5:30 – 6:50 p.m. We need to be finished before 7:00 as that's when the Hastings City Council is scheduled to meet that evening.
For those of you in Cottage Grove, we are scheduling a town meeting for you in March. Stay tuned for more details.
As for the upcoming Hastings event, Senator Sieben and I will be discussing legislation that was approved during the 2015 session, as well as key issues that could be debated during the 2016 session. I strongly encourage you to make time to attend this town meeting on February 1 and make your voice heard.
