Dear Neighbors,
Today, the Minnesota Legislature convened in special session to tackle a broad agenda of unfinished business. One of our cornerstone priorities to get across the finish line is a strong package of police accountability and criminal justice reforms. George Floyd should still be with us today, and Minnesotans are counting on us to deliver the bold changes necessary to ensure all Minnesotans can be safe in their communities, no exceptions.
I’m honored that this coming Thursday at 5 p.m., Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison will join me for a Virtual Town Hall Meeting. The event will be held on my Facebook page.
As chair of the House Judiciary Committee, I work closely with our Attorney General to ensure equity and justice are prioritized for all. Attorney General Ellison is working hard on several fronts for a sustainable and equity-oriented Minnesota. Join us to discuss these actions and how we’re working in the Minnesota House to help reach these goals.
