Several new laws took effect on July 1, including the bipartisan two year state budget. Two cornerstone measures on which the DFL-led House and Republican-led Senate together successfully found consensus will help protect workers from stolen wages and address the opioid crisis that is devastating families in our community and across the state. You can find the full list of all the new laws from our nonpartisan Minnesota House of Representatives Public Information Services office.

If you would like to review what will be allowed under the new law, you can find a helpful guide from the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety here.
