What: Town Hall Meeting with Sen. Wiger, Sen. Kent, Rep. Ward and Rep. Lillie
Where: Maplewood City Hall – 1830 County Road B East, Maplewood
When: 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 24
This meeting is an opportunity for you to hear from us and share your thoughts and ideas for the legislative session. I hope to see you there.
TRANSIT SURVEY RESULTS
Last week I let everyone know about the Rush Line Corridor Open House and asked for your thoughts on transit expansion in our district with a survey.
The majority of survey respondents said that there isn’t adequate access to transit in our district and that they favored expanding transit in our area, including with options such as bus rapid transit and light rail. The responses between the two possible Rush Line Corridor options were almost equally divided with a slight majority favoring the Vento Trail and Arcade option over the Rice Street and 35E option.
