Dear neighbor,
I am pleased to report that the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development awarded a Job Skills partnership grant to TenK solar in Bloomington. TenK solar is a small business that manufactures solar panels. Due to the grant, the company plans to add 85 new well-paying jobs in our community.
In addition, Governor Dayton recently signed the tax conformity bill. The bill moved quickly through the Minnesota House and Senate with broad bipartisan support. The bill includes tax relief for over 200,000 families and more than 40,000 college students. Tax conformity should make it easier for Minnesotans filing their taxes this year and provide additional tax relief.
