Dear Neighbor,
Greetings from St. Paul, where this week a bill I authored to help fix a local issue cleared its final committee hurdle and is now ready for a vote of the full House.
The bill (H.F. 1541) pertains to the Cedar Lake Area Water and Sanitary Sewer District and a change that was made last year.
It is not one of those glamorous bills that will attract TV cameras or create headlines, but that is not what matters. What is important to me is listening to constituents and working with them to make improvements through legislation in St. Paul.
Hard work that helps our friends and neighbors in District 20A is extremely rewarding. I am pleased to continue guiding this bill through the House with the hopes we can get it across the finish line and into enactment.
