St. Paul, Minnesota — State Rep. Joe Atkins released the following statement following news today that Preferred One will not be selling insurance on MNsure.
“MNsure is a marketplace where consumers can compare and shop for quality health insurance. It is no different than Target or Cub Foods in that some products will come and go. Preferred One may be leaving, but MNsure still has many great products, including the four largest health insurance providers in the state. We still have nation-leading rates. And over 300,000 new Minnesotans will continue to have access to quality, affordable health insurance.
“We have more work to do in the future, but we must continue striving to provide more Minnesotans with affordable, quality health coverage.”
